Then I heard sirens and instantly went on alert. I frantically whipped my head around, scanning the alley, but it was a dead end and the only way out was the road the cops were on. I swore out loud, but quietly, and backed up to the darkest corner I could find. something reached down and grabbed the back of my jacket, lifting me up through the second story window, which was broken and most likely abandoned.
It pulled me to the floor and I didn't move, waiting till the sirens had faded away. Then I pushed myself up with my hands and elbows, and looked up to see what had grabbed me- all I saw was a pair of lavender boots, and then a deep, Russian-accented voice said, "You good?"

I will be your heart, if you will be my shield. In a world where magic supposedly didn't exist, Serena has spent years struggling to conceal her unpredictable singing magic. While wishing for a peaceful life where she can sing without fear, she sees a man in handcuffs being forced into a shady research center. Their eyes meet, and the soulbond is forged. Darien is not from this world, and he's been held captive for years. With the soulbond amplifying his strength, he can fight his way through almost everything, but not every danger can be fought with fists. Their love draws them together even as power-hungry enemies try to pry them apart. They want to control Darien for their own purposes, but he's too strong to be controlled by force. Their love is their greatest strength-and their biggest vulnerability. But magic has its own rules, and no song can go unanswered. Excerpt: I pitied the man, although with so many cops around him, he was quite dangerous. Who needed 30 police officers to supervise one guy who in handcuffs and leg shackles? I watched him walk down the gauntlet between the rows of officers. It was as if I couldn't look away. He paused and looked around. His brilliant glowing blue eyes seemed to meet mine across the vast distance. I couldn't even blink as his eyes seemed to hold mine. The trees of a park broke our locked gaze as the bus kept on driving. I took a deep breath, suddenly realizing that I had stopped breathing the moment our eyes met. I had never seen such blue eyes before-and they glowed! A shiver ran through me. I had been too far away to make out the color of the man's eyes. My eyes watched the trees, hoping for a break in them so I could see the man again. I had no such luck. --- Fade-to-black action fantasy romance Copyright November 2017. An alarm bell rang, the main computer's voice sending chills up my spine. Hearing Masquerade Ventos over and over again sent me crashing through my former place of employment. Skidding to a stop in front of an open window, the bounty on my head would set anyone up for life. A breeze blew my shaggy layered hair up, a rich black claiming my bangs and the hair lining my face. Jet black tips tickled my cheeks, my shaking hands ripping off a rope from my cargo pants. Tying the rope around the window's handle, a lump formed in my throat at the rope bouncing done the remaining half of the building. Propelling down gingerly, my slight fear of heights was going to the death of me. Feeling around for solid ground, the heels of my boots hit the cracked pavement. Sprinting into the crowd on the street, a dozen spies descended upon me. Snatching a sweatshirt from a chair, a flick of my wrist had it floating onto me. Disappearing into the bathroom, I hopped on top of the toilet. Dozens of footfalls clicked in, the stall doors blew open. Counting them, mine would be next. Clammy sweat drenched my skin, a group of women coming in causing them to leave. Jumping off the toilet, I poked my head out. Giggling like a bunch of idiots, a polite smile disarmed them. Ditching the hoodie in the trash, confusion twisted their features as I pulled myself through the small window on the other side of the bathroom. Landing inches from my enemy's entrance, a long sigh drew from my lips. He was the only one who could help me bring down my corrupt employer, my fingers curling around the edge of the sewer lid. Jumping down while placing it back, disgusting water splashed over the top of my boots. Closing my eyes, the map of his headquarters played out in my head. Opening my eyes, his face hovered inches from mine.

Wattpad Creator! Happy and proud. HIM: Staying the night? Not my thing. Hearts and flowers? Boring. Falling in love? Not anytime soon. Settling down? Off the table. Getting married? You're kidding me, right? That was me before the night we first met. Because, well, meeting a hot chick that made me hard just by looking at her was definitely not in my plans when I sneaked out of a woman's apartment after what was already a long night. Taking her home and getting her a chocolate cake, though, was kind of intentional. But falling for her? Boy, that was pretty much inevitable. HER: He came out of nowhere, literally. I was there, sitting on that bench, barefoot and crying and just getting my heart broken in peace and silence. Then he appeared, all mad and furious and sexy and tall and just drool-worthy! And just like that, despite my poor attempts of escaping him, he had me wrapped in his world. A crazy yet heart-fluttering world, that I have absolutely no intentions of leaving anytime soon. ------- Character development is a main theme in this book. However, I was a kid when I wrote this so take it with a grain of salt. *** Like a deer in head lights, I freeze and watch as the car comes towards me expecting to get hit. But to my surprise, the car swerves to the side slightly next to me and comes to a stop. I take a deep breath I didn't know I was holding at the driver's side door swings open and a very pissed off Axel steps out. "Thank god," I mumble and place my hands on my knees to catch my breath. "Blaze?" He says and I hate it. I hate how he says my name as if it's his. Like he knows it's the only thing I want to hear, him calling out to me, looking at me, focused to me. It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. "Don't run from me Blaze it won't go well," he growls reading my thoughts causing me to freeze in my spot. "Do not ever think you can get away from me."

#2 in Horror. /02.23.16/ I hear footsteps approaching me, pacing faster and faster making me look back quickly. I see a man in a black fabric mask wearing all black clothing. I widen my eyes beginning to run in the snow making my feet heavy. "Help! Somebody help me!" I scream in a cry looking around to find nobody on sight. "Help!" I scream trying to run faster hoping somebody would hear my cries. My throat became sore from the cold quickly making it harder to breathe freely. "Help me! Somebody!" I hear the tall figure run behind me feeling a grip on my hair. My white ski hat fell into the ground covered in snow. The man groans pulling my hair towards him making me collapse. "No, stop!" I scream struggling from his grasp, punching and kicking aimlessly. "Shhh." The man whispers into my ear grabbing onto my wrists starting to cuff them. "No!" I scream twisting and turning trying to bite the man's arm. The man doesn't say much. The only thing I hear is his heavy breathing. He starts to shackle my ankles together as I lay a full blown kick into his face making him groan in pain holding onto his nose on top of the mask. "Help me, somebody!" I keep yelling as he kicks me in the stomach and takes out a clothed bag from his coat pocket putting it on my head covering my face. He ties it up from the back tightly making my neck feel pressured. "Please." I whimper. "You don't have to do this." I cry admitting defeat. "Night, night." He chuckles hitting me behind the head making me loss consciousness. WARNING: Will contain very disturbing content. This book is not for individuals who are sensitive to these topics. He once told me no one knows the real him.I didn't think he meant it, and not in a good way. He is a straight A student, and everyone knows it, not to mention he is on the swim team. All that though isn't the real him, the real him hides deep within himself. ---------- "Can you please tell me what that was?" I nearly shout at him. All I get is silence. He keeps his back to me. "Please, I need some explanation." I beg. I stay still as he stops dead in his tracks. His body is tense and it's scarring me. He turns around slowly to face me with his hands at his sides. His eyes meet mine, but there is no spark of any emotion in them. They are cold and dark making me look away not being able to hold his deadly stare. I feel uneasy under his gaze, and i feel his eyes burning a hole in the side of my face. "No, I won't explain because it's not important." He says in a low, almost, growl. I flinch and look back into his eyes. I feel hurt by his words and I don't know why, but I know he sees it in my eyes. His faces flashes with regret but it's quickly covered up with his faces going back to it's hard cold look. I feel my heart stop and my face go pale. His look terrified me making me hold my breath. "Breath." He orders. I start to breathe again and just blink at him. "Now go." He orders me again. I flinch involuntarily at his tone and jump back slightly. "Please don't let me walk home alone." I beg in a quiet voice, looking down at my feet. The next thing I see are his black combat boots right in front of my shoes. I look up into his eyes and he looks down into mine confusion written all over his face. "How come you aren't running yet?" He questions searching my eyes. "I just can't walk home alone, please I'm scared." I hear him chuckle. "You aren't afraid of me? What can possibly be scarier than me?" He asks. "Well, I know you will keep me safe." "Why is that?" He questions raising an eyebrow at me. "You haven't hurt me." "Yet." He mutters, but I roll my eyes.

His Letterman Jacket

10 parts Complete

~ 10 part series ~ - The night was chilly and the frost bite bit at my nose. I crinkled it in response to the freezing cold as snow powdered all around my aching body. The ground was soft but lightly damp from the condensation on the tips of the grass blades that dig into my skin. I was naked and alone and could do nothing about it except lay there in silence, that was until the sound of footsteps came up to me in a sense of urgency. "Are you okay?" The voice asked me. I looked down at their dark blue converse shoes and follow their legs up to their torso and face. Their light ginger hair sprinkled with snowflakes that looked to be like dandruff almost. He helped me sit up and he held me close to his surprisingly warm body. "You must be freezing. Here. Take my jacket." He got up and slid it off his muscular torso and wrapped it around my shivering body. I looked down at the embroidered letters and patches on it that made me realize he was part of a sports team at our school. I can't believe a jock gave me his letterman jacket, but only if I knew that was only the beginning...
