Larry Needlemeyer works at majority of the jobs in Elmore. His payment is very minimal and he barely gets any breaks or tips. Due to his low payment, he has to live with his decently paid girlfriend, Karen, whom he's questioning his relationship with. When Steve Small comes along Larry finally feels complete and as if he's actually... happy? He thinks of Steve as the best friend he never had as a child, maybe even more than friends...
