Kingship, the ultimate power in the ancient world. To the Egyptians, it was a power passed through the female line. Only the husband of the Solar Princess could be king. A recently discovered tomb in 1883 opens a glimpse into the depths of political ambisions and power plays from centuries before. When the gods dabble, the horrors of the past have a way of coming back to haunt the world once again. ********** This is a short story. I hope you like it. I would love to hear feedback on this. I set this as mature just to be sure. I don't give overly explicit details of violence or sex, however, the story does delve into topics of a more mature nature. As for the names of the characters, I pulled all of the names during the historical periods from actual history. So, I am sorry if the names are odd or difficult to follow, it is set during a specific reign and the historical people around the royal palace. I really enjoy writing from actual history as much as possible when I do delve into history.
