Macbeth is long. And Shakespearean. "Macbeth but it's Better" is shorter and less Shakespearean. Something wicked this way comes! Wrought with ambition, witness the world crumble in the wake of Scottish general Macbeth's hunger for power. TW: violence, war, and tyranny are discussed throughout the play. I wrote this play for a man. Our long-distance relationship seemed like Romeo and Juliet's balcony scene. The story is based on the original Shakespearean work, but I tried to make it deeper to capture and cherish all of the moments we shared together. The play is full of metaphors, so don't take everything literally. Mostly, it is about my insecurities regarding the long-distance aspect, and the play actually came before we were able to see each other in real life. He wanted to see my poems, but I gave him something more precious-the most precious gift I was ever able to give.
