The judge sat nonplussed, his eyes furiously scanning the case file which was scribbled all over in red ink. Crosses, underlines, and corrections littered the pages. He raised his gaze to look at the man that it belonged to, only to find him lounging in his chair. Legs propped up comfortably against the table, his posture careless and perfect jawline moving as he chewed a piece of gum. Arrogance dripped off his entire body, in his expression, as though he was bored. The judge was baffled. He squinted at the man's ID to get a look of his name, and put his head in his hands.
"God damn you, Steve Ford." He thought wearily.
This case was going to take a long time.
