Taking place in World War Two this story shows that kindness, sacrifice, selflessness and love can exist even in the darkest times of human history. Or at least of what I feel is possible. This story to some of you at least will seem "wishy washy" at times and possibly slightly childish and obsessive. But sometimes in life that's what we all feel like when really we are being human. Humans are creatures that sometimes let their hearts lead them to paths that others feel are immature, unintellegent, and that are useless at points. But also just as sometimes those decisions are just that they can just as well bring about events that change your life.
I have put my heart and limited skill into this story so thus it will contain subjects that not everyone will understand.

A CrossRoads
This is my very first attempt at writing a short story. It's not perfect. I think it certainly goes too deeply into religion at the beginning. And always reminds me of a Vincent Price horror. (Wherever my voice for the story came from?) Especially when the character visits his wife's grave, and later reminisces about their dog's death. But like all stories I've written. I think it too holds beauty. Especially when he meets his soul mate at the lunar city. When I read that part, still, I can't escape from feeling some surge of emotion. The story is set in the future, where technology exists to change the pathway in life we traveled. Let's be honest, have you ever pondered about your existence? Asked yourself the simple question, "WHY IS EVERYTHING SO HARD IN MY LIFE ? WHAT HAVE I DONE TO DESERVE THIS?" Well then the simple answer might be, you've headed down the wrong road in life, or what is referred to in this book as, a terrestrial cul de sac. A word taken from French, and translated to in English as, "A No True Road." If you're curious to know more, please read on... And if you're brave enough to do so, be aware, a world as incredible as the "Twilight Zone", awaits! Well maybe not. But then I guess, it also depends on the reader..? And what is one's cup of tea, may not be another's, and so on.Complete

Having faith in something that literally isn't there but is is tiring. Also, the world hates you and you have to fight against the one thing you can't escape, sin. Choosing to fight this battle puts a target on your mind and sometimes body, and it can make or break you. ... Seems useless, right? Maybe, but it isn't, because either way it goes, we can't change it. It's scary, new, fun, and boring all at the same time. It's... not something humans would regularly do. But I'm taking the challenge and attempting to make it to a place called Heaven. There was a major war that happened and now the government is trying a new experiment on the city. The main character, Alex, and her best friends who are twins are seeing that something isn't right. They're seniors in high school but because of the war, they've been separated on government orders. No one is allowed outside because the government is making people to believe its toxic. They believe that if the parents believe it, the kids will too. But it doesn't stop Alex. She and her best friends decide that they are going to try and stop this. But how? They have no clue. *Destined to Be series book one. Not necessary to read Book one before book two.* Achievements: #1 in Lesbianromance [August 14th, 2019] #4 in Lesbian [September 30th, 2019] #5 in GirlxGirl [August 26, 2019] Avery has had a tough life, a very tough life. She feels like the universe is forever against her. And never thought that, even after everything she's endured, she would ever get her 'Happily Ever After'. Then one day she thinks it may be possible. The woman she had been in love with for years, finally returns her feelings. Avery was finally happy, the woman she loved so much for so long, finally loved her back. Her 'Happily Ever After' was within reach. At least that's what she thought, until the woman managed to shatter Avery's already broken heart into a million pieces. Months later, the wound still fresh, she packs up her stuff and moves back to the city where she was born.
