Better problem-solving skills:- Chess improves problem-solving skills. Playing chess requires higher-level thinking and planning as you consider how your opponent will react to your moves and how you can outmaneuver them.
Improved memory retention :- Chess helps improve memory retention. As you learn chess strategy, you'll be memorizing the movement of each piece on the board.
Increased creativity and imagination:-  Chess enhances creativity and imagination. Imagination is an integral part of the game of chess as players consider what their opponent will do next and how they can best respond by using their own pieces to their advantage. 
Stress relief:- Chess is a great stress reliever. The act of focusing on a game like chess forces your mind to shift away from stressors, providing relief from everyday worries.
