Occupation
In the year 2034, the long and endless debate about whether or not life exists outside Earth's atmosphere is ended. The Stelka, an alien race with one soul purpose, invades Earth and places the planet under an occupation. The planet will only be freed from their rule once Humanity passes or fails their tests. If they pass with flying colors, they will be set free and introduced to the vast universe outside the Milky Way. If they fail, the Stelka choose the fate for all of Humanity. Governing under Stelka rule, slavery, or complete annihilation. Only the results of the tests will tell the fate of Humanity. One organization of Earth refuses to leave the results of these tests up to chance, and will do everything they can to pass. Even if that means bending to the will of the Stelka. *Mature rating for gore, violence, and disturbing descriptions*Complete
The Way It Is
I am not from this planet. Hell, I am technically not from this galaxy. However, that doesn't change the fact I am here now, and my job is to save what I can on this forsaken planet and what's left of its inhabitants. The problem is that not everyone wants to be saved. I know what you're thinking. You can't save those who don't want to be saved. I bloody well agree. The ones who sent me don't care what you or I think, though. All they care about is numbers. They need a certain success rate to continue to get funding for their "expeditions" and "peacekeeping" efforts. I use both terms loosely here. However, that's what they put on their records, and it's what sounds good and looks suitable to their investors. So this is the way it's going to be. So be it! Oh, did I forget to mention the Universe decided I was the lucky girl to help find the one person who could save us all from self-destruction? Yea, that is a shitty idea, but once again, no one cares what I think.Complete
ONE: Epilogue of Hermesh
How do you defeat an enemy you cannot reason with, you cannot hide from, you cannot escape, you cannot kill? For they are not truly alive. *They are coming. They keep coming. They keep coming.* (No they are not zombies. They were never truly alive.) ********************** Epilogue of Hermesh ********************** In a galaxy called Hermesh, Commodore Reemon Erra, an Amarthian by birth, is a decorated war hero. He is the best Hermesh has! But when the Kaya, a life devouring alien species attacks Hermesh, shattering 100 years of hard-won peace, Reemon Erra has to unite the four sentient, space-faring species of the galaxy, if he has any hope of saving Hermesh. But all is not as it seemed. When faced with extinction, secrets come to light, that alters the very history of the galaxy, and threatens to unravel its future. Caught in the crossfires of a fight between the most evolved beings in all of Creation, only Reemon Erra has what it takes to save his galaxy. But in this genre-bending military space opera, soaked in philosophy and existential horror, victory is not what it seems. **************** A new chapter or two will be added every alternate day. When Empires Meet
The world is rapidly changing. On Earth, geopolitical tensions rise to a breaking point, with nations poised on the edge of catastrophic conflict. But far beyond the planet's atmosphere, a different war rages-one that spans the vastness of space. In the depths of the galaxy, two great powers collide in a brutal, unending war. Their fleets clash in distant systems and barren asteroid fields, fighting for dominance over resources and territory. This is a war of empires, driven by ambition and desperation, where survival comes at a cost few can bear. For now, Earth's struggles and the galactic conflict remain separate, their paths unknowingly intertwined. But the threads of fate are drawing tighter, and the actions of soldiers, leaders, and nations on both sides are on a collision course. When these two worlds meet, the consequences will reshape not just one, but the future of all. "When Empires Meet" is a sweeping tale of ambition, survival, and the interwoven destinies of two wars waged across vastly different scales. As the battles rage on, the choices made in the heat of conflict will echo far beyond the battlefield-binding two worlds together in ways no one could have imagined.
These Alien Dragons (version 1.0)
(Note: This is the old version. It is preferable if you read the current/new version.) For all their life, J. Pappas has been a reader and a writer. They have written about many things - cats, owls, humans, and dragons; they've read stories about distant futures, fantastic worlds, and epic adventures. But now a new genre of literature has arisen - "woke" literature. This type of literature has erased the memories of those old stories that J. and past generation loved to read, infecting those who read it with ideologies than wonder. And worse, the next generation is being exposed to its horrors. J. had to do something to combat this. And so, they wrote and wrote and wrote. Story after story after story. Many weren't working, but one stayed in their head. This is that story - a distant planet that mimics our times, but it not ruled by humans. It is ruled by dragons, and humans are the aliens of that planet.Complete
