"Suspended in her graceful fall I see her-
Body splayed across a backdrop of darkness,
Rolling hills and water now glassy with stars.

.....
I panic as I see the ground rushing
Towards us, impending doom approaching.
All I know is I never want to forget her face."

Evan the new girl and Luke the runaway don't believe in fate. They don't believe in destiny or Angels either. But when Evan starts having visions of falling from the sky and wings on her back burning away and Luke begins to remember knowing Evan a long time ago in a celestial place far far away, things start to get a little crazy.
All Evan wants is to make straight A's, win the school poetry competition, and be happy with her girlfriend Amanda.
All Luke wants is for Evan to return his unrequited affection. She has to admit, she does have feelings for him..

Soon it becomes apparent why: Mason is a werewolf. But when a fight turns into a sudden kiss that neither expects, Kieran's feelings for Mason turn to attraction in an instant. None of it makes sense - vampires and werewolves are supposed to be mortal enemies, so why does Kieran find Mason so irresistible? He knows that each kiss is dangerous, each bite is unpredictable...
