I stood at the edge of the rock, facing the ocean. It was a twenty foot drop. Grasping the railing I started to push my body off, leaning toward the sea. Nothing would stop me, the pain was unbearable. I needed an escape. I got ready to jump and then I heard a small voice coming from behind me. "Don't do it," it said in a whisper, "I can help you."

"If you step any closer I will- i will jump off this cliff." I threatened. "You wouldn't do that." He said challengingly. He took another cautious step foreward. "Tell me what happened now. Talk to me like an actual person or I will jump." I said. "No." He said stubbornly. "And you're not going to jump." I narrowed my eyes, and then I shut them, breathed, let go of the rock and let myself fall backwards.
