Laeney Reynolds is the most beautiful girl in high school.  With the attractive sandy-blonde hair, and baby blue eyes, perfect home life, and everything money can buy, she has it all.  Except the one thing she wants.  Friends.

It's kind of hard to make friends when you're the school freak.  In a private school, where everyone is rich and perfect, it's hard to make is through the school when you have dyslexia.  No one wants, to sit with you at lunch.  No one wants to talk to you at your locker.  No one wants to work with you in class.  No one wants to be associated with dyslexic retard.

Until the hot new kid, Wyatt Smith, catches everyone off guard for standing up for Laeney in class one day.  When he starts to make a habit of it, you worry that he's just doing it to make fun of you.

What if he is just making fun of Laeney?  But what if he's not?  What if this is the beginning of a beautiful relationship, that may go beyond friendship one day?
