Let me tell you a story. A story of someone who dared to be different.
Me. Who am I? I am an orphan. I am a lone wolf. I am a werewolf. I am a survivor. I am a warrior. I am also, as so many people like to point out, different. My name is Skye, I am named for my deep, blue eyes. I am sixteen, and I did not ask for this life. I am known as Loner. I don't yield to anyone. As I said before, I am a lone wolf. I have no pack, no one who cares about me, unless, of course, you count the packs that want to enslave me. This is my story, a story of the sad truth of the world, and people's fear of anything they can't control.
Please note: I own this story. All the characters and events in this book belong to me. I would also like you to understand that the prologue and the first three chapters were written by me when I was only thirteen. My writing has improved a lot since then. I also welcome any critiques. I feel that as a writer I can not improve without listening to my audience.
