Snowshade, a young tom-cat spots a kittypet wandering through the forest, the kittypet wonders what clan life is like, all of the cats in the gardens next door of where the kittypet lives said that clan life is great, other's said it would be much better to stay as kittypets. 

He struggles with many problems in his life as a clan cat, but he doesn't care that much. He knew that this kittypet would regret joining the clans if they ended up joining. 

Inside of the clans, everything is being torn apart. Snowshade has always been a loyal cat, but he still has his opinions, it's not like he always agrees with his clan.
