When Akahiko was younger, she was bullied and made fun of for being a mermaid. Ever since then she's been insecure about being a mermaid and hides it from everyone, by being an outcast and non-social towards everyone. She's known as the "school loner". It was like that ever since she started High School. One day her whole life changes from the usual when a boy named Light Usakawa finds she's a mermaid in the most peculiar way. From there on a friendship blossoms and finding out about accepting the past, overcoming it, and the effects it took. Learning how to let people in and have friends and what boundaries are.
