Upon the catastrophic death of Maximus, the Ultimate Omen, humanity's protector and greatest idol of morality and strength, citizens are left without lawful protection, and thus begin crashing into a worldwide panic. However, during the passing of the hero's soul, a strength-laced fraction of energy leaks into Earth's atmosphere, and is subsequently absorbed by a new, birthing soul, granting one newborn child somewhere in the world with a small portion of Maximus' inherent abilities; Despite there being no clear sign of who has obtained the newfound strength, even to the inheritor themselves. While this power is far short of the remarkable abilities that the Ultimate Omen held, the newfound successor is likely the only being with any significant potential to protect Earth from mass devastation. Will humanity find the missing heir, and, crucially, will he or she live up to the herculean role of their predecessor, and protect the world around them from doomsday?

Not mature for the younger audiences. -------------------------------- I don't like explaining my books because when I do I tend to write everything that happens, so I am just going to say that I come up with these horribly dark ideas and put them into books, of course these books may be sad, and maybe even a bit sadistic, and in my mind they are badass, but when I write them down I don't feel as if I can show what I am truly imagining. I feel as if they suck, but my best friend tells me that they are amazing and that I better publish them when I finish so I did. Obviously. So eh. Yes, I know I happen to say this in each of my story descriptions but I truly do end up ruining the story if I write about it. There is foul language, sexual content, stupidity, and most likely some grammar errors, so I'm just forewarning anyone that reads it. The Darkness in the Light
For over a hundred years, humanity has lived in fear of the monsters that roam the streets, lurking in the drains below. One day, that person is her little brother, snatched right in front of her from their arms of their father and gone forever. When a person is snatched, they never return, and life goes on without them. But she can't accept that. Breaking all the rules, all the things she's ever known, she braves the world outside her little townhouse and goes on a mission into the darkness to find her brother. Only, it's soon her that becomes the one lost to the drains. To survive she must rediscover her world, and in the process, rediscover herself. She will be reunited with old friends, gain new ones, find out deeper secrets about her past than she ever could have imagined, and learn that the world is even more corrupt than she always thought. *** This story contains sexist ideology, mention of cheating, some gruesome scenes, and a whole lot of monsters and darkness.
