"Winter Rain, does that name sound familiar to you?" A man who looked like a doctor asked me. "That's my name" I say puzzled. I lay on the hospital bed, wincing as the nurse slides another needle in my arm, awaiting the next question from the doctor. "Do you know who this woman is?" He said Placing a hand on my mothers shoulder.
"That's my mother" just by looking at her you can tell that she has been crying.
"Good, how about this young man?" He points to a guy who i don't think I recognize, something about him was so familiar, it could be his green eyes or his bright green hair. I'm not sure.
I stared at him for a while, then shook my head no.
His face dropped, the light in his eyes went out as his smile faded into a frown. He put his head in his hands and took a deep breath. "Winter, do you remember anything?" He said his voice sounded broken and worn out.
"I remember driving, and being hit by the truck" my throat went dry.
"What about before that?" He whispered.
"Nothing"

"Have you ever considered for like a second," I rolled my eyes at him immediately, "let me finish. Just a second, to try something your little uptight friends would disapprove of." I thought about it. "Obviously, I can't recall anything I have ever tried. Not a fair proposition." I sighed. This amnesia shit was beyond frustrating. "Even better. Think of anything. Something you've seen on a movie, read in a book, saw on MTV. Go wild." I smirked. I was going to do just that. "I don't remember ever getting high in the parking lot of a pizza place, then going inside to eat a shit ton of pizza." I smiled at the music video I still remember ogling at when I was ten, wanting desperately to be a teenager. "You got it." he started the car, and another unpredictable night began. In the midst of regaining her memory and getting her life back to where it was, everything gets twisted, to say the least- all thanks to one boy.
