Minor demon possessions happen to everyone, all the time. Have you ever woken up with unexplained bruises, had the most realistic nightmares or deja vu in a place you'd never been before? This is a consequence of a something inhuman possessing your brain, whether it's during a dream, while you're drunk or otherwise vulnerable.
What no one talks about is the consequences of a monster living in your brain for months at a time. That change is gradual, and you may have seen it in a friend who is no longer acting like themselves, or in one of the thousands of suicide victims each year.
Follow Rosalie, a girl possessed through hallucinations, until she bumps into a handsome demon hunter one on an empty train one evening. He teaches her everything she needs to know about harnessing her demon's powers, and perhaps a little about falling in love too.

I am 16 years old and finally will have a life out the home I have know for so long. I will be going to a school. The leaders of our city will be picking which school I fit in. Except these school aren't what they seem to the naked eye. They involve monsters no one ever thought real. Vampires, Werewolves, Witches and Shape-shifters. How can I survive learning about these things daily for my whole life?! But, the thing is I won't be learning about them to just...learn. The Hallucitect
What would you do if you could make someone else see anything that your mind could conjure up? Would you make them see their long dead grandmother? The Devil? Or would you replace their entire sense of reality and put them in a totally bizarre dreamscape that you control. Crowley has this special gift. He doesn't know why he has it or how he got it, but he has it just the same. First he learned that he could interface with people and access their memories like looking through an old scrapbook. Then he learned that he could alter a person's sense of reality. He can use his gift to scare someone to death if he wants to; and he really wants to, it gives him a certain kind of rush. He prefers his victims to be a certain type of person though, someone who deserves to die, like his sexually abusive grandfather. That was his first victim.
