An impulsive decision has Amera flying down to charming Scotland for old friend and classmate, Bea's wedding.

The castle, courtesy Bea's royal fiancé, is the stuff of Amera's dreams, and the Scottish seaside is even more beautiful to discover.

Yet, castles aren't without their dragons to slay, one of which is in the person of Vince, Bea's prickly cousin, then there are Bea's two mean girl bestfriends, one of whom with anger issues, and the other on a less than subtle mission to secure Vince at last after all these years.

Throw in the rest of the wedding party, and Amera is tempted to use her return ticket. Still in all the chaos, there's Vince who she just can't shake off. He goes from expressive distaste to holding her hand and unwavering stares, but she doesn't like him, does she? What's there to like about his handsome smiles, or his gentle gestures? Nothing at all. Nemeses don't become lovers.
