In a country hundreds of years in the future called Nacirema, they figured out how to raise the dead. Starting as early as the pharaohs in Egypt, they started bringing people back and creating a society in which anyone can be a ruler. 


When Calliope wakes up and finds herself in this unreal world full of adventure and secrets, she becomes determined to level up in the ranks in order to bring back her brother and destroy the corruption.
