Meet Jedediah Chross, your average collegiate. He's a goody two-shoes, solid grades, never touched liquor or drugs, nothing bad except for one thing.

He can't keep his hands away from things that don't belong to him, and when he gets caught, violent things occur.

This is what landed him where he is now, which is the Iron-Gate State Penitentiary, the highest security prison in the current world. Why is he here? Well let's just say the theft of a gun shop, a vehicle dealership, and a bank concerned many people...

In the process, somehow he's losing the people he loves the most, all for one guy. Is the guy worth it, is this the love he has always dreamt of? Or is the person he's recreating himself to be just a dick, who thinks he's better than everyone else? Jace's story is not a pretty one, and its more real than most. I have a stalker. I know everyone eventually has one and some are solved over time or through restraining orders. But let's take a moment and imagine this scenario; restraining orders, or anything in that nature, wouldn't solve the problem. There was nothing you can do to be free. This stalker can bounce up and over law boundaries, manipulates others, and the deceiving appearance makes others call you a liar. Even without those, this man is beyond what I now call normal. He's cruel and vindictive, and he puts criminals away for a living. He isn't the average stalker; he's smart. And when I say smart, well, that's something you'll have to see for yourself. I walked right into this dark rift, and for the longest time there was no way out. Until I discovered his one flaw. And that may just happen to be his downfall.

Davey didn't deserve to be here, in Jack's opinion. All he did was defend a friend-Jack would've done the same!-but he knows how heavy the school is on discipline and bullying, which is why it's ironic that Jason isn't with them. "What are you looking at?" Jack blinked at the accusatory and annoyed look on Davey's face, shocked he'd gotten caught. "Is there something wrong?" "No", Jack denied, licking his lips habitually. "Nothing." Jack and Davey were two of the most well known kids at Hamilton High School, but on opposite sides of the popularity scale. Jack was always surrounded by people, and Davey preferred to avoid them when he could. Davey was a cheerleader, and Jack was an artist. But somehow, the logic of ending up in detention applies to everyone.

That is, until, he meets his new cellmate - Noah Parker. Tall and charming, with the good looks to top it off, his bad boy demeanour is what draws Sam in; but he soon realises that Noah has plans, and he isn't staying behind bars for much longer. When Sam was sent to prison he thought his life would come to a halt, but it was really the beginning of something new and exciting. The beginning of a life on the run. [Now completed!]

The third book in the Insane Series, read Insane and Normal (which can be found on my profile) before this !) Virgil, in all honesty, hasn't had the best of luck in the last year. He's been hospitalised for "insanity", got one of the county's biggest mental hospitals closed down, gone back to school, and tried to graduate while avoiding getting re-admitted. On top of it all, one of his closest friends is still being persecuted for a crime he didn't commit. And all they have to do now is make it out alive.
