Abayomi Nahr is in Luxor for a dig, an excavation of a tomb. But when strange things start to surround her, she finds herself sucked into the past to Egypt under the reign of Amenhotep III. She must return to her own time, and find out why she went back in the first place, before anyone finds her secret and sentences her to death.

Her expertise and people skills are tested, though, when the museum recruits a young and intelligent Egyptologist from the Cairo Museum in Egypt, Dr. Edward Zuberi. He is to assist Hannah in preparing artifacts that were found in the famous Ahkmenrah Exhibition in Luxor, Egypt for the new Ahkmenrah exhibit in the museum... but difficulties come about in starting up this new exhibit when head-butting opinions, theft, threatening, and even romance, arises.
