Tessa Miller just graduated high school only about a week ago and decides to take a gap year to travel with her best friends, Mia, Isabella, and Avery. On her last day before she officially leaves her city in Chicago behind, Tessa and her friends decide to have some ice cream from their favorite ice cream parlor, Soft Delights, when shit falls apart and when Tessa passes out, she wakes up in her body, yes, but this is most definitely not her life. She can't remember shit but from what everyone tells her, shes the Mafia boss of the #1 mafia AKA the Mexican mafia known as "las rosas sangrientas".

Tessa easily adjusts to this lifestyle and even along the way manages to the eye of Elias Lopez in which leads into a romance tangled mess. Now while out and about, She is slapped the fuck back into reality when three familiar faces walk into the door of the club she apparently owns and memories come flooding back but when the two worlds meet along with the people in it she don't know who to believe anymore.

But throughout it all Elias still manages to be such an ass but he can be sweet.
