Unfortunately, this causes many problems for his social life since his family's reputation precedes him and makes it so no one will talk with him. He is worried it will make his greatest fear come true. He is terrified he is on the path to becoming evil like his parents. Then, one day at school he gets an invitation from Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. Sure he's heard of it, but only in rumors. The school is just for magical creatures to learn more about themselves and their history. It was made over three hundred years ago and still run by a fairy named Cassiopea and her daughter Cassia. Arion is excited to go because his parents refuse to teach him anything about other magical creatures other than dark magic. They believe it is irrelevant for him to know because they think he will take over the world one day. And why should a leader know anything about his subjects? Arion convinces his parents that if he goes to the school he can do recon on the other magical people so he can learn about them and make it easier for him to take over. With no friends, no siblings, and a very negative outlook on life, he heads to Cassiopeia's School for the Gifted. I was mid rewrite on this book so at some point the story jumps and shifts gears. Sorry not sorry. I'll adjust eventually. He watches from the shadows as the girl whose magic could make the world stop turning finally decides to light the match and watch the world burn around her. Finally putting herself first and not allowing her powers to be a circus act to the higher council she struggles to let in the man who pulled her away from the very scene that would have turned everyone's world upside down. But who is going to save her when everyone she knows finds out just how powerful she is and their fear will push them to try everything in their will to capture and harness the power from within her.
