In the resurrected body of Mo Xuanyu, Wei Ying told Lan Zhan the truth about his core. He told him everything, Zidian, Lotus Pier, Jiang Cheng, and his sacrifice to give up his core for him. Telling him how he feels so guilty about everything that it does not matter if they find the truth about who framed him. 

Lan Xichen heard their conversation and his guilt for not realizing soon had him determined to help him and his brother. He should have noticed the signs, not uses his sword or carrying it, he became weaker and his energy drained a lot faster.

Will Lan Zhan and his brother be able to help him?
Will Wei Ying and Lan Zhan ever confess how they feel for each other?
