Inbreds are not uncommon in the medical field. Children of doctors grew up in hospitals, they know nothing else. So, it's not weird when those kids become doctors themselves too. But there's a hierarchy among the inbreds whose God-Tier is known as Royally Inbred. 

With Derek Shepherd as father, Addison Forbes Montgomery as mother, Meredith Grey as step-mother, Jake Reilly as step-father and Mark Sloan as godfather, Nadira is the most royal among the Royal Inbreds.

DISCLAIMER: I wrote this a decent chunk of time ago which means that the grammar, punctuation and overall writing is lacking in this story. It's not totally horrendous but just know that this is no longer my writing style and I have since become more fluent and educated.
