The fire and screams are nothing new to us; but it's still bone chilling. My kind are forced to live like animals when we want peace, maybe exposing ourselves wasn't a good idea, but the war still remains the same. Hopefully, this will end in a more peaceful way, but the way things are looking, I don't think it'll end peacefully. It seems it will end with one race gone. <a target="_blank" href="http://www.copyrighted.com/copyrights/view/nim5-vyzw-yuii-qqby"><img border="0" alt="Copyrighted.com Registered &amp; Protected NIM5-VYZW-YUII-QQBY" title="Copyrighted.com Registered &amp; Protected NIM5-VYZW-YUII-QQBY" width="150" height="40" src="http://static.copyrighted.com/images/seal.gif" /></a>

"You shouldn't be here," I whisper-yelled to him. "I shouldn't," he agrees. "I should let them kill you," I added as he began to walk slowly towards me. "You should," he tucks a loose strand of hair behind my ear," But you won't." I'm about to argue that I will when he brings his lips down to meet mine in a slow, thought-halting kiss. Then another. Then another. ____ Do you know what death is like? I do. I've lived through a million deaths a million ways, it's all the same. There is no angel standing next to you to help you up, no bright light, just a cold feeling followed by something I can only describe as numb. I can't complain though, I was born to see these things. I was born to see death and to stop it. That's what oracles do. So when I foresee the death of the entire wolf race, I need to find a way to stop it. Only to find out that the one who ends the race is, in fact, my own mate. Can I find it in my heart to let him be killed? Or can I stop the end from coming another way? This is part of a series, you can get by without reading the first book but be warned that it contains spoilers if you read the previous one later. Book 2.
