Lotanna wanted to be in love, always fantasizing about a happy marriage and a house full of kids. She never expected to turn pregnant when she met 'the one,' and she certainly never expected 'the one' to be engaged to someone else.

Desperate to leave her shattered life, and despite her mother's warnings, she packs up her broken heart and moves to the motherland of Nigeria. But once there, Lotanna faces immense obstacles in a country where women are seen as objects, and she soon realizes she may have gone from the frying pan into the fire with some sauce added to it.

Her name is Lotanna Lewis. She is a dreamer and a fighter.
