On the heels of their success of solving the Resmar Murders, a cold case that is well over a decade old, lands in the laps of detectives Hank and Sam in the west coast town of Eustice and its leading up to the one of their biggest challenges to date.
Not only is a rough start with the new team that they have to overcome, but also evidence that's truly out of date, and top it off with having the frustration of a new office. Add in the fact that it's an older case and the murders had just stopped without word makes it even harder. But what's now creepy is that the same exact murders are happening again, with the same use of a pool ball at the scene. Can the detectives solve the case in time again? Can they hope for the same success when it seems like everything is stacking against them? Can they figure out if it's a copy cat or land the original killer?

Rob Beeton spends his days sitting behind a desk investigating patterns of household waste disposal in Hertfordshire. In the evenings he balances arguing with his wife with making silly voices for his infant son's cuddly toys. By night he sleeps alone in the spare room next to the wardrobe with the broken hinges while he wonders if the garage door will ever actually fix itself. Meanwhile, Lisa Curly works in a library in the most deserted fishing town in Scotland. The man she shares her life with spends more time on his boat than with her and the last time he touched her, the internet was still using dial-up connection. A few houses down the street her mother is dying of something that is most likely cancer, but the old girl refuses to get it diagnosed. Rob and Lisa lost contact after leaving secondary school at sixteen, but, courtesy of the internet, found each other again and, more importantly, have been able to locate online those eight pupils who tormented them the most during their younger years. With five dead and only three to go, Rob and Lisa's murderous revenge is nearly coming to an end. However, when the improbably-named Detective Peter Piccolo moves into the house next to Rob, something definitely appears amiss. Is this the most surreal police sting ever contrived, or is it just an enormous coincidence for Rob and Lisa? Is Piccolo trying to be their friend, carry out some sort of undercover surveillance, or is he just an even bigger monster than the two of them combined? Either way, the brooding copper is a massive spanner in their works and something will have to be done if Rob and Lisa are going to literally lay the pasts to rest and move on with their lives.

The BAU team gets called to Elroy, Wisconsin to investigate murders of five young people, three women and two men in their twenties, having nothing but their appereance in common. The thing disturbing to most of the team is the fact all the victims look similiar to someone they know. Hotch orders Reid to stay at the station because he's worried about te doctor. The unsub is one of the most difficult ones the team had to deal with so far, so after the team, excluding the young doctor, and most of the officers leave to arrest possible suspect, they find it was a fake call, they come back to devasted place, the officers that stayed behind all lying on the floor, not remembering anything that has happened since their colegues left, and of course everyone's worst fear came true, the unsub got Reid. Later two other bodies are found, one female and one male, neither of them being able to get identified, until the unsub is caught, when getting asked about the FBI agent's wherabouts only replies with "Thought you would find him by now" while having satisfied smirk on his face. No one can tell wheter the unsub is bluffing or not, and as much as the team wishes he was, while discovering the unsub's hideout they find some of his victims alive, their worst fear being confirmed. They had lost the doctor... or did they? ____________ -this is my first fanfic, also English is my 2nd language, so excuse any mistakes and/or errors -I do not own the show 'Criminal Minds' nor the characters -also obvious trigger warnings for death, violence, swearing, maybe 'boy x boy' and 'girl x girl' relationships (even between the main characters and bcs I'm a multishipper idk which ones I want to include yet) probably alcohol or drugs as well (if anything else comes to mind, will add before mentioned in fanfiction)
