Just one rainstorm. Just one flash. Just one bolt of lightning. You’re probably wondering what I’m talking about. I have one word for you: Max. 13-year-old Max Mason, an ordinary boy from Johannesburg, South Africa, has his life turned upside down when he is struck by lightning one fateful night. Through this he gains superpowers and becomes a threat to the king of a whole other world, the Other Dimension. Max is captured and taken to the Other Dimension, where he learns that it is his destiny to stop the world from being overcome by evil. It is there that he meets five others. Together the six form a group that is indestructible. Max is taken on an epic journey of both fight and flight, of both love and hate, of forgiveness and redemption, of self-sacrifice, of learning the value of life and love while discovering who he is and exactly what he is capable of. The apocalypse is coming, and Max knows that he is the only one who can stop it. But will he be able to, or is the fate of the world too heavy to rest on the shoulders of a thirteen-year-old boy?

Nova

"I don't really know whether i'm a sociopath or just a psychopath....i guess only time will tell then" She isn't normal, she has known that since she was three. A child would never like to play with fire or knives, A child is supposed to happy when they give her dolls or teddy bears not throw a tantrum. "If you had not blamed me, if you had let me have a good childhood. I might not have turned out like this" Nova D'angelo was neglected by her family who blamed her for their mother's death who died while giving birth to her. While her twin sister was getting all the love and affection, Nova was living like a real life Rapunzel. Locked up, she grew into something dangerous, a demon. "That girl isn't my sister, i don't know what that is but she isn't my sister" Now that things are getting serious, enemies are coming into the fray. Family problems are arising. Nova is going to have to navigate and keep herself and loved ones alive, all the while dealing with a family looking for forgiveness that she is not willing to give. "Yes i know, i am extremely sick in the head" Warning This story includes Torture, gore and others. I don't know about the descriptions but give it a try. *Not edited at all. Probably will deal with that when i'm done with the book*
