Devin Valentino is the epitome of future Prom King. He seems perfect to those around him, but underneath that façade is a boy more broken than he lets on. Alena Schmidt was his love, his haven and his hope, and losing her wrecked him. It's clear that not only one person died that fateful day.

How did he lose her? 
  Two words: the gang. Alena was stabbed to death in an ill-fated run-in with said gang

What happens next?
  Devin is left reeling- knowing that he was the last person she called and the fact that he never answered eats him inside. He becomes a different person. Or rather, he becomes the one he's always kept hidden.
