Ellie Neal was an optimistic, social, and outgoing 17 year old girl who was wealthy and had very loving parents. Everyone in school loved and adored her. But with the death of her parents, she closes of her world and becomes a social outcast. When Jake Adams moves in next door, Ellie's quiet life is thrown into turmoil. The annoyingly sarcastic and egotistic guy with jet black hair refuses to leave Ellie alone in hopes of making her life more hellish than it already is. As the two continue to bicker with each other, Jake begins to slowly fall in love with her.
