You continued down the routes after having freed Poppy, and running into the next Monster of the Week, being Mommy Long Legs. As you try to escape her after getting the train ticket, you are stuck trying to keep distance. With a chance to finally do away with her, and continue, why are you hesitating?
I felt sad after playing Ch.2.

you get caught up in the middle of a rain storm with your two good friends, having to take shelter in the abandoned playtime .co factory after not so easily breaking off the boards to get in. In this story , four 12-year-old toys: Cuddle Wuddle (Huggy Wuggy), Little/Lily Long Legs (Mommy Long Legs), Moonlight (CatNap), and Sunshine (DogDay) received a letter that was meant for their human mother saying that her old coworkers from her old work place, Playtime Co., are still in the factory and to find the flower. Disobeying their mother, the group decided to sneak out to the factory to find answers. But once they entered the factory, they would find shocking secrets about their origins. I do not own the Poppy Playtime game, I only own my OCs.

Dog Toy: A Poppy Playtime Fanfic
The first thing you notice is the torso with the bloodied, fleshy severance. Then the strung-up arms. Then the hanging head of something, someone, that looks so familiar. A dog, so similar to the other anthropomorphic characters... It comes to you, finally catching the name of this toy: Dogday.
