In the bustling halls of Sejong Middle School, two unlikely best friends, Kim Dokja and Yoo Joonghyuk. Kim Dokja, with his jolly demeanour and penchant for perfectionism, was Always impeccably neat and orderly, Kim Dokja's basic clothing belied the complexity of his thoughts, as he grappled with low self-esteem and a need for validation that went unnoticed by those around him.
On the other hand, Yoo Joonghyuk, with his cold exterior and hidden warmth, was a stark contrast to Kim Dokja's bubbly personality. Despite his aloof demeanour, Yoo Joonghyuk harboured a deep-seated caring nature, especially when it came to those he held close. Though not as wealthy as Kim Dokja, Yoo Joonghyuk kept his financial status low-key, preferring to blend into the background rather than draw attention to himself.
Their friendship, though unconventional, thrived on mutual understanding and unwavering support. Little did Kim Dokja know, that his feelings for Yoo Joonghyuk ran deeper than mere friendship. He harboured a secret crush on his best friend, his heart fluttering at the mere thought of him. When Yoo Joonghyuk jokingly proposed to Kim Dokja one day, the latter accepted without hesitation, his hidden affections clouding his judgment. Yoo Joonghyuk, oblivious to Kim Dokja's true feelings, remained unaware of the turmoil brewing within his friend's heart.
And as for now, Yoo Joonghyuk still hasn't found out about Kim Dokja's feelings. Yet Kim Dokja still tries to keep it cool, he doesn't want Yoo Joonghyuk to find out about his feelings. Just wanting to stay by his side, and for him to be happy.
