Bridging the centuries, a soul from the past steps into the present.

~

Twenty-five-year-old Meredith Black has been researching and helping out in a large team of experts that strive to create new inventions for the future-the "modern future," as it is commonly called.

Meredith's company has finished an invention they have longed to perfect for years, and today was the day they finally did just that. The Time Machine, as silly as the name sounds, has a purpose that matches its name: time travel. Despite Meredith having only been with the team for three years, she was lucky enough to be assigned to work alongside two of her colleagues, Cedric Burberry and Sophia Hart.

As they explore the year 1898-exactly twelve decades from 2022-they encounter a group of teenagers who are far different from the teenagers in their time. What happens when Cedric chooses to take this group of teens all the way back to their time?

(Disclaimer: OC's are more present and mentioned.)

Lydia Miller has spent her life searching for stability, never truly belonging anywhere-until the Barry family welcomes her into their home. Leaving behind the ghosts of her past, she travels to Avonlea, Prince Edward Island, alongside her best friend Anne Shirley, who has also found a new family. In this quiet town of rolling hills and close-knit traditions, Lydia hopes for a fresh start. But fitting in is easier said than done. Reserved and fiercely independent, Lydia struggles to open up, haunted by the fear of abandonment and the memories of the past she refuses to speak of. Despite her sharp mind and academic excellence, she keeps others at a distance, guarding her heart behind walls she has spent years building. Then there's Gilbert Blythe-witty, confident, and frustratingly charming. Their rivalry in the classroom is instant, a battle of intelligence and stubbornness that neither wants to lose. But as time passes, their playful competition transforms into something deeper, something Lydia isn't sure she's ready for. As she navigates friendship, love, and the echoes of a painful past, Lydia must decide if she will let her fears define her or if she will embrace the life she has always longed for. Because sometimes, a new beginning isn't just about where you are-it's about who you choose to become.
