This is a collection of some poems and short stories that I've written. This was actually an assignment in class, but I thought I wanted to share it with everybody. (I'm really sorry, I'm not very good with writing poems and I can only write in repetition.) We all know Mother Nature, right? Or so we think. Let me just say, she's called "Mother" for a reason. Meet Sky Water Nature (no lie, that's actually her name) the daughter of Mother Nature. Wild, fun-loving and free, she is meant to inherit the world. Literally. Sky knows she will soon have her mom's job--keeping track of the seasons, controlling the weather, protecting the planet from pollution, stuff like that. But a few terrible mishaps and Sky's world changes. Dramatically. And she's left in charge of the world much sooner than she expected But with loyal friends by her side and a few visitations to the world, Sky can make it--right?

This collection of stream of consciousness prose was written during a very special time in my life. I left the city following a massive burnout, and lived in the country for months. I began a garden, cut most of my ties to the outside world, and wrote this as a way to keep me going through most of my days. When I wrote, I felt like this magical sense was taking over me and the words were just flowing out. I have not edited them, because I wanted to keep them as true to the feelings I had then as possible. It was truly a beautiful, transformative time of realizations for me. Before Claudia moved to Los Angeles, and eventually ended up living with Finneas, Claudia lived with Eden in New York. Once Claudia moved away, it was left up to Eden to pay the rent and keep herself safe. While Claudia thinks Eden has been clean and has been recovering, Eden hasn't been. And after Eden's incident with Billie one summer, Eden hasn't visited Claudia since. Except for this summer. This summer was different. Through the raging tension between Billie and Eden, and Eden's "hidden" addiction, this summer was definitely going to be memorable.
