Pokemon Journeys: New Horizons

Not a fan of how Pokemon Journeys turned out? What with Goh dumping his Pokemon into what amounts to a PC box, the rushed Darkest Day arc, Chloe not having a goal for a majority of the series, the disappointing returns of Ash's rivals and companions, etc.?
Or do you believe it lives up to the hype with the better art style, a story that spans across multiple regions, Ash defeating stronger rivals, and the gym trope finally being broken with the introduction of the World Championships?
Whether you hate the series or love it, I hope my rewritten version can satisfy both sides and provide an enjoyable narrative of what could have been.
