It's funny how we are often discriminated for a unique trait in us.
"His gift wasn't a curse, it was more than that. It was a blessing and he didn't realize that, it was unique and so was he"
Having Blue eyes as a Nigerian teenager doesn't make me a monster, right? No, of course, it doesn't.

Beauty Inside You
Sometimes your appearance can decide much. If you are beautiful, everyone wants to befriend you. So, what about someone, who they do not accept just because you do not fit the beauty standards they came up with. Sadly, I was not lucky to be born as a handsome boy. That's why my mother is probably the only one to admire me. That's why I have to get bullied by bullies and their friends and hide that I have a crush on the most beautiful girl in the world that will never pay attention to me and would prefer the irresistible but stupid and mean boy over me.Concluida
The Grey In Black And White {COMPLETED}
The teenage period is usually not always easy. You make mistakes, you learn from them. It's like a moulding phase towards adulthood, which tends to be harder than adults make it sound. Especially in this generation. Growing up in a society where having a psychological condition means you're a freak, abnormal or an attention seeker. Where gender inequality is still seen as normal and right. Where anything other than Heterosexuality means you're possessed or the spawn of the devil. Where showing your emotions as a guy means you're soft and weak, because toxic masculinity isn't seen as a problem. Also, having anything to do that's related to these "atrocities" means you're set for an even bigger social stigma. Being a teenager becomes harder than hard. Just a group of teenagers trying to find a place for themselves in midst of a backward society, realising that life can't be all black and white. Growing in an African home is hard but what's harder is being a Nigerian. O le gán. "It is better to be hated for what you are, than to be loved for what you're not." -André GideConcluida

Reborn
At birth the little boy opened his dark blue eyes and looked around without opening his mouth. When the -inconsiderate- doctor gave him a slap on his buttocks instead of crying a "tch" escaped his lips while an irritated grin bloomed on his face. He had seen them through the glass, just as he had seen more doctors and nurses, and immediately turned his eyes in the opposite direction, frowning at his brows and lips. That was going to be a big nuisance. He did not use to bet but that was not a bet but an incontestable reality.Concluida
The Corner Store
I fell for a boy with the kindest blue eyes, and a charming dimple. He made me feel loved, and cared for, and most importantly he made me feel safe in his presence. He came right in the middle of a tornadoe and managed to turn it into blue skies. He changed my perspective and gave me hope and strength." I looked at him, and he was smiling, and his eyes were a little glossy. He took my hand and kissed it, a small tear caught in the corner of his beautiful eyes. "I thought, hey, maybe life isn't so bad after all. Maybe I can finally allow myself to love and be loved, and to live life normally. When we went to your party, you told me to wait for you. But then your perverted cousin made me feel super uncomfortable, so I went looking for you, just to be able to feel at peace again. And that's when I saw it." My heart beats skyrocketed, because this was the moment everything changed forever. "Saw what?" Asked Axel. I took a deep breath, and continued. It's now or never. ✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨✨ Sophia Grace is a 25 year old Forensic Science major who recently started working as a cashier at her local grocery store - "The Corner Store".
