The death of Regulus Black was unforeseen by the Black family, yet what happened to Orion was not.

Disclaimer - I don't own Harry Potter. This is written for the first regular Froday challenge for the month of May 2022, the prompt being "unforeseen", but in this story, I'm working with the realization that Regulus might not have even been eighteen yet when he died - we only have a year after all - and that it was Regulus' death that killed Orion rather than Orion dying before his son. I also wanted to touch upon how Sirius knew his parents came to regret championing the Death Eaters as they had. Which - warning - be prepared for a possible tear-jerker. After a horrible relationship, Regulus was found crying in the hall and James found him. James comforted him and then they went back to James' room. And that's how it starts. Some pregnancy scares and pregnancy at the end of the story. (just to have some drama for the next generation).
