The Dirty Doublecross, according to the Urban Dictionary, is the highest dishonor one can bestow upon another. It's a medal (metaphoric or physical) awarded to a person whose evil devious dastardly backstabbery knows no bounds.

When 20-year-old Yvonne Mackentire intentionally tore her best friend's ACL in their volleyball final, she earned that medal. Yvonne and Stella had been two peas in a pod - one was never seen without the other, inseparable since they met in their first year and became joint team captains. And now? They were fighting on the court and then tearing the others ACL.

Stella Huntington's season was now over, and thanks to someone who she thought was her friend, her future seemed that way too. Her previous plans to stay and run a boot camp throughout the summer break were dismissed, and instead, her doctors prescribed two surgeries and rest and relaxation at home.

A painfully long summer of rekindled friendships, rehab, and family time awaited Stella, and to say she was excited, would be a stretch. All she wanted now, was revenge.

Innocence is subjective. When push comes to shove: things change. And sometimes you just have to try not to explode. Pure's always been bullied for her name. When Pure and her parents move to a new town in Florida because "sex by the beach" would be fun, Pure was optimistic. But that optimism quickly faded at her new school where the bullying continued over something she had no control over. With daggers coming at her from all angles, will she survive high school? Completed. Word count [80,000 - 100,000] **************** "You look very beautiful tonight." A cocky grin spread across his handsome face. "Don't I always?" I teased, sticking my tongue out. "Of course you do!" He said smoothly, rolling his eyes at my foolishness. "So, how about instead of just sitting there, would you like to dance?" He beamed confidently. "With who?" I grinned, taking his hand. *** (This is my first story completed 2016, excuse the grammar and spelling mistakes, I will go back and revise all of it once I'm done.)
