However, rather than being a lost soul or a mere mortal trapped in hell, they are suddenly declared the new King of Hell. To make matters even more absurd, they aren't exactly equipped for the job-lacking any sinister powers or experience in ruling a chaotic underworld. Tone and Themes: With your comedic angle, the protagonist could be bumbling through their new responsibilities, perhaps relying on clever tricks, unexpected alliances with demons, or even just pure luck to navigate the trials of hellish bureaucracy, rival factions, and strange supernatural creatures. Romance could emerge with a demoness or another royal figure, creating humor in how their relationship develops despite the strange and grim circumstances.
