Kristal was born Norm. 

Like most Norms she was used to hard work and manual labor. They were at the bottom of the social stratification so nothing was expected from them but to get their jobs done well. That meant to sweep the streets and clean the houses of the Eligibles among other menial jobs. But unlike most of her people, she had a dream - a dream to become Eligible. But the thing was never in the history of the New World had there been someone coming from a lowly life moved up to the top. That was just simply impossible. No way to achieve it. But, somehow, this never disheartened Kristal. Instead she felt challenged by it. It fueled her desire. She wanted to prove the whole world wrong. Then an opportunity came. The King had seen her skills and was amazed by it. He wanted her to teach his son how to be responsible and put some ideologies in his head. The prize if she succeeded was her dream. So, she grabbed it.  

Brock was born Eligible.

Everything that he liked, he got. That was one part of him being an Eligible. But he was not a typical Eligible. His family was the ruler of the New World – the Crowns. And being the only son of his parents, he was bound to serve the country as its future Ruler. But that was not what he wanted his life to be. All he wanted was fun and easy, riches and fame. Never did he envision himself sitting on the golden throne. Responsibilities weren’t his thing. But everything changed when his father introduced a pretty lady as his tutor. Suddenly, his world danced to a different beat and he was unsure what caused it.
