After the betrayal that led to his imprisonment, Chthon changed. The god that was once of peace and nature, now is the god of Chaos and destruction. Whilst being imprisoned in his own child, Chthon had been poisoned by his own power, the love that used be emitted now only shows decay and destruction to anything he touches. The elder gods had been jealous of their brother so they hurt him with what he cared for most, they manipulated Sersi into cheating on Chthon with Ikaris. After their child was born, the elder gods had taken the child and with their combined power they had locked Chthon away. Some of the power that Chthon held had escaped in the hope of finding a way to release its owner. It would search for two milenia until one night that it found it's hope, Wanda Maximoff.

Growing up as a Maximoff had its complications. Money was scarce, but life was good. Family was the only thing that brought Olive joy, and she was okay with that. She was more than okay. It meant so much more to her because she was taken under their wing when she was only four, having lost her birth parents at a very young age.
