Oliver Evans is The Prodigy of the Heart (Book One)
Our story begins in 1982, at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Severus Snape was hired as the potions master a year ago, and has gotten himself somewhat settled in the role. All that changes when he meets an overly enthusiastic student named Oliver Evans. This young boy, with dreams of becoming the potions master himself at Hogwarts goes from a thorn in his side, to his most beloved pupil. With numerous adventures around every corner, and different rules being broken almost daily, Oliver and Snape's lives would never be the same. Follow this fifth year Slytherin in his quest to protect his friends, represent his school and even falling head over heels for a certain someone along the way.

Because the story takes place in 80s, some events at Hogwarts may be done differently than the years we are accustomed to. Although I do like to check my facts, some things have been slightly changed. Some events have also been added.
This is indeed a love story, however you are also following along in every day life at Hogwarts and the trials of Oliver's life. If you're looking for an explicit and steamy romance novel, this isn't the one.
This is a story without Harry Potter, Lily Evans, and many of the original members. They simply do not exist. Faculty, for the most part has not changed and should be lined up correctly with canon except in places where new faculty has been created. There is no relation between Oliver and Lily.
