We often are said be hideous towards our scars, stretch marks, acne spots and many more...
But do we really need to do it??
And on this basis, I present you with a poem, on what's been said to a girl when faced with scars.

Shattered Piece Of Love
People often say that love is supposed to heal you. I used to believe that too. Until one night taught me that love and fear could exist inside the same heart. My name is Vanya Singhania. This will be my collection of poems reflecting on societies obsession with weight and size and the effect this has on us and how we can change this. Addicted
"You have no idea how badly I want to make love to you," he responds with a shake of his head. "I love you so much," he continues and my heart melts. "I love you," I whisper back. "Okay, I'm going to make love to you now, Angel. It will hurt a little, so let me know if it hurts too much," he says and leans down to kiss me. "I'll be gentle," he tells me. Keeping his eyes locked on mine he shifts his hips forward slightly and enters inside of me. My mouth widens as he enters, and I feel a slight pinch. Marriage first, then love
He did not love her. It was a loveless marriage to him. In his eyes, she is just a burden who cooks food for him. And in return, he will earn money and place it in her bank account. "You can't marry him Vaani" I said staring deep in her eyes gritting my teeth my chest tighten with unfamiliar and unbearable pain , just the thought of her being with someone else kills me so much. "Why?" She asked adding salt on my wounds anger consumed me at this moment, while tightening my grip on her arms and pulling her closer I let out a painful chuckle and said " Because he don't deserve someone like you he deserves someone much better" I could feel the burn in my eyes, my tears are fighting to rolled down my eyes but I didn't let them , hurting her is hurting me more than she could imagine. She remained silent tears rolled down her eyes damage caused by my words were clearly visible in her eyes , I am dying to hug her comfort her but the betrayal the, damge ,the pain I am carrying all these years stopped me from doing so. "Do you hate me this much Nirvaan?" She asked in painful voice looking straight in my eyes , my heart clenched painfully on her condition , I wiped her tears and whispered so softly that she can't hear it. A Diamond with Scars
In everyone's life, there is always a moment that changes everything drastically. Maybe you meet the love of your life. Maybe you lose someone dear. Or you have the worst accident that changes everything. For Mark Drummond, a officer for the Chicago police department, that was the day he was shot. 6 years in the force, nothing prepares you for what happens on the day you are injured in the line of duty.
