Adelaide Baker knew from an early age that she was meant to live a painfully mediocre life. She learned not to expect much from life, and she didn't give much back in return. As much as Adela tried to ignore the strange things happening around her, she knew when Christoph showed up that her days of normalcy were gone. She was about to enter a war she had no business being a part of, with a power that should belong to anyone but her. The more she tried to fight learning about her past, the stronger her magic became.
