For years, Alexia Sommers and her parents have been moving from town to town, for the same reason everytime. To escape their past life, in which Alexia's parents to this day still haven't explained to her. So they move to a small town in Wyoming named Dayton, with a population of only 777. Fabian Sommers, (Alexia's mother) prefers small quite towns to work on her writing and soak up dreary scenery to consruct the best plots. Chris Sommers, (Alexia's father)hates small towns, but he always wishes to make Alexia's mother happy...
Soon after they settle into their new house, and Alexia is attending school as a junior at Sryter Mouth High, she discovers strange things about the school, about the town, and about her new home. In the beginning, this was just like any casual move that she's done, but later does she realize that living in this town is going to give her another valid reason of moving away. Their's something different about the people in this town. There's an urban legend that states "...When the day comes, the quite ones will be quite no more." She figures this is all just a superstition, but she becomes shocked as the truth of this "quite little town" unravels at her fingertips.
