When Peter and Egon get into a fight, Peter insults Egon badly, and Egon runs out of the firehall to cool down. But when Egon is returning to the firehall, he mysteriously disappears. The guys soon find out he had been abducted. But it affects Peter more as he is worried that he'll never be able to apologize. Will the guys find Egon in time and will he and Peter make up? Or will Egon never be seen again?

Note: will be rewriting this in the future, just wanted to post it to give context for my 'GB: Taken' story.

Set Your Soul (A Peter Parker/MCU Fanfiction)

9 parts Ongoing

"Seek what sets your soul on fire." - Quirky Pinterest Quotes Fire was something that Lydia Maximoff was used to. She felt the heat of the bomb that took her parents, even though it never went off. Her anger burned in her veins as she learned that Tony Stark, and by association the Avengers were to blame. That red-hot hatred never really faded... So when Lydia and her siblings signed up to become human experiments for Baron Von Strucker, it wasn't exactly surprising that her superhuman abilities manifested in the ability to create, wield, control, and withstand fire. The only thing that burned hotter than her abilities was her thirst for justice and her determination to keep her family safe. That's what led her and her family to partner with Ultron. Its what led to her explosive falling out with her sister after the Avenger's Civil War. Its what makes her a great superhero alongside her partner and friend Spider-Man... Its also what makes her relationship with Peter Parker more than a little complicated. Especially when she's forced to move in with him after her entire family is taken away from her. Will Lydia be able to dampen the fire within in order to truly trust another person? Or will her anger and distrust burn her alive?
