In 1861, Adira Astley King ruled New Orleans. When a family with ancient ties blew in, she couldn't help but fall for the oldest brother, Alexander Chamberlain Royal. In 1862, her world was effectively torn apart. While New Orleans burned, Adira was cursed by a vengeful witch.
