Dear Luca

Alani Davis and Luca Carter have been best friends for thirteen years! However, before high school began Luca moved across the country without warning. Ever since he moved, Alani has written emails about her day and her feelings. In a way, this is like her way of journaling. This has been happening for four years.
She hopes that one day Luca will be able to reply to her emails, even with just a simple hi. Deep down, Alani has not moved on from their friendship. She started to develop feelings for him as they were growing up together, but now it seems like she would have to move on even if it's the hardest thing to do.
