Levi Ackerman had waited two years after high school to go to college, two years of working hard and endlessly saving up what little he had to cut ties with his dark upbringing. He wanted to become a new person, and he was willing to start from nothing to achieve it.

However, all his hopes and dreams did not account for his neighbor on his floor, an obnoxious, bright-eyed brat who had little regard for the peace and quiet of others.

That idiot, however, regardless of how much Levi wished to ignore him, managed to also spike his interest. For some odd reason, Levi felt drawn to him. He felt as if he always needed to be around him, even if he was just the oblivious freshman beyond the wall.
